Ben / Work / Create / Communicate
My name is Benedikt Lehnert (but everybody calls me Ben). I am 27, and from February I am going to live and work in wonderful Berlin. My hair is short (because that's really user-friendly) and I wear a three-to-five-day beard (that's also user-friendly). Usually I am very sociable and I am always in for a good cup of coffee and an inspiring conversation.
In recent years I founded two companies, met great people and discovered my love for photography. Currently I work in a biotech start-up.
I spend much time in front of my MacBook Air, thinking about concepts, creating strategies, communicating, consuming or editing photos I shot with my beloved Leica.
Oh, by the way I am a passionate consultant and speaker.

New Adventures
From early February 2012 I am going to work for a great company in Berlin. A new adventure focused on changing the world. Stay tuned for more information soon.
Watches
Everyone of us has hobbies. So do Julius, Haiko and I. And we build an app for one of our hobbies which is going to hit the Apple AppStore soon: Available for iPad soon.
When I was a child I wanted to be a superhero. Today I want to change the world.
With the design of relevant products, services and brands. Oh, and I try to inspire people. Because it's cool to work with people who are curious, brave and passionate.
I am designer. The medium does not matter: a physical device, a digital software interface, a service or even a more legible document. I design to improve lives.
I believe in the combination of design and technology. More importantly, I want to make technology more human and, ideally, create an emotional connection between the user and the object.
Besides, I try every day to be a bit better than the day before. Therefore, I move into different disciplines; leave my comfort zone to develop myself. I believe in courage, curiosity and passion.
My passion is to design. Not just products, but a consistent (emotional) experience to the users. I want to design strategies for successful businesses through considered products. With a team full of superheroes.
